Trumenba

Trumenba vaccine is intended for vaccination of children from 10 years of age, adolescents and adults against invasive meningococcal disease caused by meningococcus strain Neiseria meningitidis group B. The vaccine is injected into the upper arm.

Vaccination scheme

The vaccine is administered in two doses at the following intervals: the first dose is administered on the selected date, the second dose is administered 6 months later.

No vaccination has been prescribed.

When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?

You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination, physical exertion, visiting the sauna, solarium, or large consumption of alcoholic beverages is not recommended on the day of application. The interval between the previous and next vaccination must be at least 2 weeks. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most commonly reported side effects

Pain at the injection site, mild fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, indigestion, weakness.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding

Vaccination is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
