Boostrix POLIO

The vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and polio—Boostrix Polio—is intended for individuals 4 years of age and older as a booster dose following the primary vaccination series. The vaccine is administered into the upper arm.

Vaccination Schedule

Vaccinate with one dose from 4. year of the child.

Vaccination is possible in adulthood.

When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?

You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination; on the day of vaccination, physical exertion, visits to saunas or tanning beds, and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages are not recommended. There must be an interval of at least 2 weeks between your previous and next vaccinations. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most commonly reported side effects

Pain at the injection site, mild fever, headaches, muscle and joint pain, digestive problems, weakness.

Pregnancy, Breastfeeding

Vaccination during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
