Hepatitis A vaccine for persons 16 years of age and older. The vaccine is administered in the upper arm.
Vaccination Schedule
The vaccine is administered in two doses at the following intervals: the first dose is administered on the selected date, the second dose is administered 6 to 12 months later.
No vaccination has been prescribed.
When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?
You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination; on the day of vaccination, physical exertion, visits to saunas or tanning beds, and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages are not recommended. There must be an interval of at least 2 weeks between this vaccination and the previous or next one. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.
Most commonly reported side effects
Pain at the injection site, mild fever, headaches, muscle and joint pain, digestive problems, weakness.
Pregnancy, Breastfeeding
For precautionary reasons, it is not recommended to administer the vaccine to pregnant women except in cases of high risk of infection. The vaccine can be given to breastfeeding women.
