Cholera vaccine for adults and children from 2 years to 65 years of age. It is a drink that is drunk. It is necessary not to eat, drink or take other drugs by mouth 1 hour before and 1 hour after the application.

Vaccination scheme

The spacing between doses varies according to the age of the person being vaccinated:

Children from 2 years to 6 years of age: 3 doses are administered at least one week apart. If more than 6 weeks have passed, it is necessary to vaccinate from the beginning. A booster dose is given after 6 months.

Children from 6 years and adults: 2 doses at an interval of at least one week. If more than 6 weeks have elapsed, it is necessary to start the vaccination from the beginning. The booster dose is given within 2 years of the vaccination.

When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?

You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination, physical exertion, visiting the sauna, solarium, or large consumption of alcoholic beverages is not recommended on the day of application. The interval between the previous and next vaccination must be at least 2 weeks. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most commonly reported side effects

Headache, diarrhea, bloating, abdominal cramps.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding

The vaccine can be given during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
