Vaccine against pneumococcal infections. The vaccine is administered in the upper arm.

Serotypes: 1,3 , 4 , 5, 6A, 6B,7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, 22F, 23F, 33F.

Vaccination Schedule

No adult vaccination has been prescribed.

When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?

You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination; on the day of vaccination, physical exertion, visits to saunas or tanning beds, and excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages are not recommended. There must be an interval of at least 2 weeks between your previous and next vaccinations. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most commonly reported side effects

Pain at the injection site, mild fever, headaches, muscle and joint pain, digestive problems, weakness.

Pregnancy, Breastfeeding

Administration of the Vaxneuvance vaccine during pregnancy should be considered only if the potential benefits
outweigh any potential risks to the mother and fetus. Vaccination of breastfeeding women should be considered based on the risk of infection.
