Rabies vaccine for children from 2 months, adolescents and adults. The vaccine is injected into the upper arm.

Vaccination scheme

The vaccine is administered in two doses at the following intervals: the first dose is administered on the selected day, the second dose is administered 7 days later.

Further vaccinations every 5 years.

When is it necessary to postpone vaccination?

You must not be acutely ill at the time of vaccination, physical exertion, visiting the sauna, solarium, or large consumption of alcoholic beverages is not recommended on the day of application. The interval between the previous and next vaccination must be at least 2 weeks. You must not take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most commonly reported side effects

Soreness, tenderness, redness and swelling at the injection site, fever, chills, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, headache, muscle pain, joint pain.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding

In the case of preventive vaccination, it is recommended to postpone vaccination during pregnancy. In the case of vaccination after infection, pregnancy is not a barrier due to the severity of the disease. During breastfeeding, the risk-benefit ratio of vaccination must be weighed.
