Vaccine against madness, designed for infants as from 2 months of age, teenagers and adults. The vaccine is applied to the upper part of an arm.

Vaccination scheme

Vaccination by three doses in following terms: the first dose is applied on the selected day, the second dose after seven days and the third dose is applied 28 days after the first dose (it may also be applied 21 days after the first dose).

The first booster is applied 12 months after the third dose.

Re-vaccination every 5 years.

When it is necessary to postpone the vaccination?

You mustn´t suffer from any acute disease at the time of vaccination. On the day of application it is recommended to avoid any strains, sauna or excessive alcohol drinking. At least 2 weeks must have elapsed from / to the next vaccination. You mustn´t take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.

Most frequently reported undesirable effects

Soreness, sensitivity, redness a swelling in the point of vaccination, fever, shivers, fatigue, giddiness, qualm, Headache, muscles pain, joints pain.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding

In case of preventive vaccination it is recommended to postpone the vaccination in case of pregnancy. In case of vaccination after infection, pregnancy is not a obstacle, due to serious character of the disease. It is necessary to assess the benefit / risk ration at the time of breastfeeding.
