Vaccine A and B type jaundice, designed for persons above 16 years of age. The vaccine is applied to the upper part of an arm.
It is vaccinated by three doses in the following time terms: the first dose is applied on the selected day, the second dose is applied in 1 month and the third dose in 6 months after the first dose.
There exists even an accelerated vaccination scheme, when vaccination is performed in the following intervals: the first dose on the selected day, the second dose in 7 days, the third dose is applied in 21 days after the first dose and the fourth dose is applied in 12 months after the first dose.
No re-vaccination was specified.
When it is necessary to postpone the vaccination?
You mustn´t suffer from any acute disease at the time of vaccination. On the day of application it is recommended to avoid any strains, sauna or excessive alcohol drinking. At least 2 weeks must have elapsed from / to the next vaccination. You mustn´t take antibiotics at the time of vaccination.
Most frequently reported undesirable effects
Soreness, sensitivity, redness and swelling in the location of vaccination, headache, nausea, temperature, sleepiness.
In case of pregnant women it is recommended to postpone vaccination after the child birth, unless it is absolutely necessary to protect the mother against B-type jaundice. In case of breastfeeding it is necessary to consider the benefits of breastfeeding for the infant and benefits of vaccination for the woman.
