Germany

Influenza: The wave of influenza started in the last week of October. There are regional differences in the number of reported cases. Germany

West Nile fever: The first human infection this year was reported in mid-August. A total of 10 infections were confirmed by mid-November. Berlin, Leipzig and the districts of Harz, Saalekreis, Vogtlandkreis and Salzlandkreis are affected. In 2018, the first locally acquired infections in birds and horses were registered in Germany, and in late summer 2019, 5 people fell ill in eastern Germany for the first time. Nepal

Pakistan

Malaria: More than 3.4 million suspected cases were reported nationwide by the end of August this year, up from 2.6 million in 2021. More than 170,000 infections have been confirmed. A rapid increase in malaria cases was observed after the first floods in June.
